Travis Meredith, DVM

Veterinarian/Owner

Dr Travis Meredith grew up on the backside of the Maryland Standardbred racetracks that launched his passion and career in veterinary medicine.
He graduated veterinary school in 1999 from Texas A&M University, completed a residency in Clinical Reproduction and Embryology from the University of Pennsylvania, and achieved specialty board certification by the American College of Theriogenologists.  Dr Meredith purchased his first veterinary practice in 2003 and realizing that the school of hard knocks wasn’t going to be enough, went back to school (yet again) and earned an MBA from the University of North Carolina.

Dr Meredith is passionate about seeing the patient experience from the eyes of the pet owner and doing everything we can to create the best experience possible, for both the pet and their families. 

Clinically, his interests include family medicine and the expanding the recognition of hospice care in veterinary medicine.

Personally, he fills his passions as the family Uber driver, happily chauffeuring his two sons and two English Setters from sports event to sports event.

Stefanie Muller, DVM

Dr. Stefanie Muller grew up with dogs and cats in Virginia. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in English from the University of Virginia. She attended Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, she spent 4 years at 7,000 feet in Flagstaff, Arizona before moving back to the East Coast.

Her professional interests include behavior, training, and enrichment; preventative medicine, weight management, palliative care, and feline medicine. She is passionate about ensuring her patients have the best possible experience. She has achieved both Level 2 Fear Free and Low Stress Handling Silver Certifications.

Outside of work, she enjoys adventuring with her family, hiking, reading, native plant gardening, video games, and board games. She has a Navajo Reservation mutt, Bunbury, a former street cat, Baloo, and a rosy boa, Mr. Jefferson.

Andrew Rosenfeld, DVM

Dr. Rosenfeld graduated from Cornell University and has been a veterinarian since 1991. Dr. Rosenfeld was the medical director of AERC – York, Companion Animal Health, Abaxis Animal Health, and several other facilities including VCA Boston Road Animal Hospital. Dr. Rosenfeld has a strong interest in emergency and general surgery, internal medicine, ultrasound diagnostics and emergency care. Dr. Rosenfeld is a member of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and was an adjunct professor at Mesa Community College and Arizona State University. Dr Rosenfeld has also authored a text for veterinary hospitals called The Veterinary Team Handbook from Blackwell Press. Dr. Rosenfeld has co-authored a textbook in clinical pathology called Clinical Pathology for the Veterinary Team (Blackwell – 2009).

Jennifer Scheidt, VMD

Dr. Scheidt graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and completed an internship with the Veterinary Specialty Center of Delaware the following year. She resides in Middletown, Delaware with her husband, 2 sons, cats, dog, and chickens.

Patricia Buttrey, DVM

Dr Buttrey attended Purdue University for both pre-vet and veterinary school. She received a B.S. in Animal Science and a Masters of Science degree as well as her DVM. She has been practicing medicine since 1983 and has widened her scope to the exotics field as well as companion animals. In her spare time she loves to read and spend time with her grand daughter as well as her cats. She and her husband of almost 50 years also enjoy traveling the globe together.

Cecilia Helenski, DVM

Dr. Helenski attended the University of Rhode Island in the pre-veterinary program in the Department of Agriculture and Animal Science. She graduated with her B.S. in Animal Science and continued her education at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville obtaining a Master of Science degree in veterinary physiology. It was during her work at UT that she developed her interest in cardiology, completing a research study looking at the prevention of aortic thromboembolism in cats. After completing her Master’s Degree, Dr. Helenski returned to New England to work for a year as a research associate at US Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine in Natick, MA. It was during her time at USARIEM that she was accepted to the then-new veterinary school at Tufts University in Boston, MA. Dr. Helenski received her DVM degree from Tufts in 1985 and did a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine in Stillwater, OK. From Oklahoma, the next step was a residency in small animal cardiology and respiratory medicine at the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL. After one year she transferred to the University of Pennsylvania to finish her residency. Upon finishing her residency program Dr. Helenski was accepted to a one-year fellowship at Temple University Medical School studying the role of inflammation in venous thrombosis.

Dr. Helenski has been a visiting cardiologist to our practice for nearly two decades now.
