Meet The Staff

Deborah Beck-Ross, DVM
I am a graduate of Texas A&M's College of Veterinary Medicine. I worked in
this area for several years before joining Penn Animal Hospital in 1989 and
purchasing the practice in 1990. I have two children, Stone, who enjoys
skateboarding and computer animation, and a daughter, Kennedy, who enjoys
all things "girlie" and ordering her brother around. We have 3 cats, a
hedgehog, a tarantula and numerous fish at our home in Kennett Square. My
hobbies are gardening, biking, reading and running after my two children.

I'm Russ. I'm married and have two grown children, one grand-daughter and one extra large
German Shepherd. My hobbies consist of woodcarving, gardening, going to the mountains,
fishing, street rodding and building street rods. The rest of my time is spent working at
Penn Animal Hospital, which I have enjoyed for twenty-five years. Here I am cleaning the
teeth of a very large cat. |

Martha Gowen
Receptionist
Welcome to Penn Animal Hospital. Originally I came from the mid-west, Sioux City , IA to
be exact, but in the last 25 years I have lived wherever there was a major thoroughbred
race track. My husband Jim works in horse racing. My three children can attest to all of
the moves. We moved here 16 years ago from Long Island and really enjoy this area. We
have a dog, Tawney, plus several neighborhood animals who always visit. I have been
at Penn Animal Hospital for almost 10 years and truly enjoy meeting all the wonderful
pets we administer to. |
