Deborah Beck-Ross, DVM
I am a graduate of Texas A&M's College of Veterinary Medicine (I'm not saying what year). I now live in Avondale with my 2 children, son Stone (senior at Kennett High), daughter Kennedy ( a student at Greenwood Elementary), my significant other, Michael and his 2 sons, Tyler (freshman at Penn State) and Andrew (junior at Kennett High). Our fur covered family includes 4 cats, 1 hamster and Fang, our pet tarantula. I challenge myself twice a week with kickboxing class ( I received my black belt December 2010 and am working toward my second degree black belt). When I am not working I am transporting my daughter to dance class or after school functions. In my spare time I enjoy reading, crossword puzzles, sodoku, gardening, horseback riding, and a good glass of wine.
Joyce Bendokas, VMD
I am a graduate of University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and West Chester University. I've been part of the Penn Animal Hospital family since July 2007, and have enjoyed our clients and pets very much. Originally from New York, I came to Pennsylvania in 1979, because of my life long horse habit. I enjoy quiet times with friends and family, local music, gardening and horse racing. I share my home in Oxford, PA with my son Jesse and our pet cats. My son Jehon is grown and active in the US Air National Guard.
Russell W. Wambold, Jr
Technician and Primary Animal Caretaker
Everyone knows - I'm Russ! I have worked for Penn Animal since 1976. I am dedicated to my job and taking care of your pets and I probably know your pet's name better than yours. I really enjoy the long standing relationships I have established with many clients. I have 2 cats I love and enjoy, who run my house; one is the morning alarm clock (meow-meow!) I am a member of the Laurel's Longbeards Local Chapter of the National Turkey Federation. I enjoy black powder and teaching black powder to the youth in our area. I also enjoy street rodding, my mountain property (upper PA) , working in my garden (Green Thumb!) and my family. I really, really enjoy the clients and their delicious baked goods at Christmastime.

I have lived in Chester County for the past 18 years. My husband Jim and I have 3 grown children. Penn Animal Hospital has been my home for the past 12 years. The doctors here have taken care of my 4 dogs with love and kindness. I truly enjoy meeting all our clients and all their wonderful pets.

I recently moved to Oxford and live with my fiancé, Kevin. We have three cats. My oldest cat, Pudette, lives with my mom to keep her company. Butterscotch was rescued from a farm a few years ago. Scooter, a Maine Coon, is our newest addition. My fiancé and I adopted her so she could have a forever home. I love animals and enjoy helping owners and their pets, so I was really excited to become part of the Penn Animal Hospital team.
Lora Maule
I have been part of the Penn Animal Hospital family for close to 3 years. I have lived in the area for most of my life. I have been married for 17 years and have two daughters, 2 dogs and one cat. I truly enjoy coming to work and interacting with all the pets that come under our care. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, baking and indulging in chocolate.

I've lived in this area along with my BIG family and lots of animals, including my "boys" Winston, a Pomeranian and Milo and Motor, my two cats.
