The Pets of Dr. Joyce Bendokas

Octoraro at Penn National Race Track

Mr. Teddy Haines and Dr. Joyce (March 2010)

This fine bunny is 'Lumpy' Bendokas.  He is the pet of Jesse Bendokas.  'Lumpy' is a mini-lop.  He lives happily inside, sharing Jesse's bedroom.

"Audrey" Bendokas.  Originally the pet of Jehon Bendokas, came to Dr. Joyce when Jehon left for Iraq with the Air National Guard in April '09.  Jehon came home safe, but has yet to reclaim his kitty!  She is now part of the herd living with Dr. Joyce and Jesse. "Box" Bendokas.  Box is an '08 model that came to us as a tiny kitten from out of a local corn field.  She is a very sweet demon.  Number 4 of 7.

The Great "Oscar" Bendokas.  Number 2 of 7 in the lineup.  Oscar came to team Bendokas after being presented as a kitten with a serious rectal prolapse.  The good folks that brought him in to the hospital off the streets of Newark, DE could not keep or afford him so they turned him over to Dr. Joyce to fix and find a home.  He did find a home.  Once he moved in, he never left.

Timmy Bendokas seems to be a permanent fixture on the sofa.  He is number 5 of 7 and joined the team during a January snow storm in 2009. We heard a meow at the door, and he marched in like he owned the place.  Has been living large ever since. A great cat.

"Boo" Bendokas just hanging out in March '10.  Boo (a.k.a.  BB Stinq) is the newest team member.  Number 7 of 7.  She is probably a July '09 baby.  The only long haired cat on duty!
